Window Fittings are the main factor affecting window security and protection against burglary. Anti-theft catches are components mounted to the window frame, compatible with the hardware locking pin. The locking pins have the shape of a mushroom which, in combination with the anti-theft catch, guarantees a solid connection of the sash with the frame and high resistance to attempts to force the window open. The more such catches, the greater the burglary resistance of the window. We distinguish window fitting with standard protection and class RC1, RC2.
